What areas do you cover?

With offices in Coolangatta and Tenterfield, we service quite a large area, from Beenleigh in the north down to Evans Head in the south and out to Tenterfield, Glen Innes, Casino, Lismore, Kyogle and Murwillumbah in the west, and everywhere in between. We will also travel outside of these areas, job specific.

How much does a valuation cost?

The cost for a valuation will vary depending on the type of property for which a valuation is required, as well as its location and size. A property with a large land area (e.g a 500 acre cattle property in Casino) will require greater research and more time spent on and after the inspection than a standard residential house or unit in say Banora Point. For this reason, our fees are dependent on the specific job at hand. Please give us a call to chat about your property and for an obligation free quote.

Does the Valuer need to go inside the property and how long will the inspection take?

Yes. The valuer will need internally inspect the property as this gives us the internal fitout and condition of the property. We can then compare the subject property to comparable sales in the area.

The time a valuer will spend at an inspection will vary depending on the size of the dwelling/unit and site improvements as well as the size of the land area. Typically, a unit or standard house will take approximately 30 minutes to complete the inspection.

Do I need to mow the lawns and put the kids toys away?

The short answer is no, however it would be beneficial to have the property presenting well when the valuer arrives for the inspection. We would recommend mowing the lawn and tidying the gardens externally and a general tidying up internally as this will greatly improve the presentation of the property. We would highly recommend completing any half-renovated rooms and fixing any obvious defects such as holes in walls or doors, torn carpet or mould growth on ceilings. Once again, completion of these items will greatly improve the presentation and saleability of the property.

Are your valuers fully qualified?

Yes. Our valuers are all fully qualified Certified Practising Valuers and members of the Australian Property Institute and Valuers Registration Board of Queensland.

Our valuers undertake ongoing training and Continuing Professional Development to meet expectations handed down from our Governing Body, the Australian Property Institute and are licensed to value property in both Queensland and New South Wales.

Do you have Insurance?

Yes. We have comprehensive Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance.
